ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS – Tabulation of Right to Information Commission Orders as per the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs), 2017-2020

The tabulation of Orders of the 'Right to Information Commission (RTIC) Orders as per the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) was undertaken by the Legal Research Division of the RTIC in two stages; firstly in regard to RTIC Orders during 2017-2019 and secondly in regard to RTIC Orders during 2020-2021. The Orders were selected based on the public interest and as such, reflects a proportion of the Orders handed down during this period.

The work was done by a research team comprising attorneys and researchers at the RTI Commission, Inshira Faliq, Nivedha Jeyaseelan, Krijah Sivakumar, Fazna Miskin, Hansini Wijesinghe, Aloka Pallegama, Diliendree Dias and Nazrin Jhan under the supervision of RTI Commissioner Kishali Pinto-Jayawardena.

The RTI Commission appriciated the input and constructive review of the resarch findings by independent researcher, Ashwini Natesan

Translation of the Tabulation of Orders into Sinhala and Tamil is ongoing.
