“Advancing RTI for the Public Good”

UN International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI) and Marking Completion of the Five Year Term of the First RTI Commission of Sri Lanka (2016-2021)

The International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI) proclaimed by the 74th UN General Assembly falls on 28th September, 2021. The theme of IDUAI- 2021 highlights the role of laws relating to access to information and their implementation. Member countries are called upon to build strong institutions for the public good, to achieve the goals of sustainable development and strengthen the Right to Information (RTI) for the benefit of the citizenry
